MTN TruTalk
MTN TruTalk is a tariff plan that provides subscribers with a call rate of 11.26 kobo per second for all local calls within Nigeria. To access this rate, subscribers pay a daily fee of N7.17. This fee is charged only on the first call of the day, not at the start of the day. If no calls are made in a day, no fee is wasted. However, if your airtime balance is below N7 on your first call of the day, your call rate will be charged at 15.36 kobo per second.
On TruTalk, you also receive a free 10MB data bonus every month, credited on your first recharge or first call of the month. This bonus is valid for 30 days.
To enjoy this service, you must be on the TruTalk plan. To switch to MTN TruTalk, dial the USSD code *400# on your phone. Alternatively, dial *123*2*6# directly to migrate to TruTalk.
You can also send the code “TT” to the number 312 to migrate to MTN TruTalk. If you have the myMTN app installed on your phone, follow the steps below to migrate.
To migrate to MTN TruTalk using the myMTN app or website, follow these steps:

MTN BetaTalk
MTN BetaTalk is a tariff plan that rewards users with bonus airtime and data on every recharge. Recharges below N100 come with an additional 300% airtime bonus and 200% data bonus. Recharges of N100 and above also receive a 300% airtime bonus and data bonus ranging from 20 MB to 200 MB, depending on the recharge amount.

The first 5 minutes of calls each day are charged from your main account at a flat rate of 32.50 kobo per second. After that, calls are charged from the airtime bonus at a rate of 73 kobo per second, and data usage is deducted from the data bonus at a rate of N10 per MB.
MTN BetaTalk not only offers a free 10MB Data Bonus every month, credited on your first recharge or call of the month, but it also provides access to exclusive data bundles for those on the plan.

- Get 40MB for N50 valid for 1 day. Dial *312*1*1# or SMS B30 to 312.
- Get 250MB for N200 valid for 2 days. Dial *312*113# or *312*1*1# or SMS 113 to 312.
Migrating to BetaTalk after buying and activating a new line grants you a N1,000 SIM activation bonus. This bonus includes N800 for Voice calls & SMS and a N200 data bonus for national calls, SMS, and data, valid for 7 days counting from the day of SIM activation.
Additionally, you receive a 10% airtime bonus when you recharge via various channels:

4. Log in, go to other plans, and select BetaTalk from the list of tariff plans.
